Yesterday evening . . .

Posted by Leena (Joensuu, Finland) on 5 November 2009 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

It started to snow and it continues still here in the Southern part of Finland and many of us are enjoying :)

Thank you very much for your visits and comments !

A photo full of family fun! The colour of the pink snowsuit is beautifully brilliant and vivid. I've been on a self-imposed sabbatical from blogging...needed to catch my breath, but I often stop by to see some of my favorites.

@Kate: Thank you Kate for your visit, I appreciate it, you are one of my first blogfriends. No matter, do we communicate once or two in a month or year, I feel, you are my friend. I will write soon email to you and tell last happenings in our family :)

Great shot Leena Isn't it a bit early for snow?

5 Nov 2009 6:50pm

@jamesy: Not at all too early in our latitudes, Debbie! I remember one autumn, when the first snow came 1th October and it did not melt before in the end of April :) It was " good old times"

Jeff from Pembroke Dock, Wales., United Kingdom

As much as I enjoy your beautiful snow scenes, can you please take some shots of roaring log fires, you know I hate the cold....Where's that wooly sweater you were going to knit me???. ;>))

5 Nov 2009 7:33pm

@Jeff: I will take fire pictures to you, when I get home. Now I have to adore our three days old grandson here :) And only one reason, why your sweater is not ready - what is your favorite colour ??

We've spent 5 days in our flat in La Plagne. The first snow felt each day, it was a true pleasure for our dog to run over the white slopes.

I love your little snowman and that little grandson enjoying the first snow. I'm just not ready for the winter season, though we don't get any snow where I live.
I'm happy to see that you are blogging now and then. Always enjoy coming here. I feel we are friends though we live so far from each other. Sue

This small daughter of the photo has got this week a little brother and I am now - again :) - helping the family mostly by playing with "Melli" girl.
