Even a blurriness of this photo is giving a feeling about a beginning autumn.
Days are shortening very fast now.

Also sunsets are different in autumn because of a darkness, summer nights are so light.

@Peter: Oh, YOU! Teasing again! I guess, you are thinking coming winter and darkness and frosts and . . . , but when it`s the end of October, we start to wait for Christmas, after that we wait for March and days when our sun is back and snow is sparkling like diamonds, after that we will wait for melting of snow and for ice melting from lakes . . . .
so, Peter, I am happy about all our changing seasons !

This is a striking sunset and a swath of clouds lit by the sun must have looked spectacular there all around you. It sure does look beautiful in your photograph. I read your comment to Peter and how you look forward to the changing seasons. We do too here where I live. But we look for dramatic changes. As Fall or Autumn here slips slowly into Winter and then it takes a while, usually a month or more before we have any real ice and snow to deal with and then when we are in the Winter season we begin to think about March and Spring. We say, March winds bring April showers and April showers bring May flowers and May flowers bring June brides.

She says -entää = lentää = fly ( yes, just this word ! ), tanttii= tanssii = dance and so on, many, many words - almost understandably , but Grandma in Finnish is mummi, that is difficult, because mummi and moomin ( muumi in Finnish ) get mixed.
and I am quite mixed because of her :)

Yes, I know the temperature of Athens. I was there four years ago just in the end of October and when we were walking around Acropolis, I was quite tired just because of too high warmth for me :). But I loved being there, you can believe !

fantastic composition! i like the silhouetted "frame" to the main part of the shot - the colours are superb and i quite like the clouds - they look as gentle paintbrush strokes....

Yes you are quite mixed, of course. Oh I love love love that she says 'fly' and 'dance.' She is such a special child, I can feel it from here, and it makes tears well up. She just touches me. I see there is a good connection, because she too wants to fly.
I think she will say 'mummi' soon.
