daisyaday from United StatesThis picture is outstanding. I love it. I will have to keep visiting here so I can see Finland in the winter...I spent a month there in the summer, and it was very much like Minnesota, where I live. We do get a little more sun here, though. Thanks for sharing! 12 Oct 2008 6:14am @daisyaday: Thank you for your visit ! jamesy from christchurch, New ZealandBeautiful Leena. The weather does look terrible Happy Sunday to you 12 Oct 2008 6:15am @jamesy: Thanks for coming by,Deb! Jeff from Pembroke Dock, United KingdomThanks Leena ,I have only seen a bullfinch in the wild once ,this brings back that memory of a beautiful little bird . 12 Oct 2008 7:05am @Jeff: These birds are regular visitors on our backyard during winters . I will take plenty of photos about them :) aragem from PortugalAn amazing photo... I just love birds... ( Thank you for your comment...) 12 Oct 2008 9:31am Leora from Highland Park, New Jersey, United StatesBeautiful. I love the redness of the bird's breast against all the grays in the photo. Looks much colder than it is here. We are getting cooler weather, but no frost yet. I also like the divisions of the composition: you have the tree trunk at right; the sky at top, the background under the sky, the branches which fight against the horizontal and vertical nature of the elements, and then the bird itself. 12 Oct 2008 10:16am LeenaM from Joensuu, FinlandThank you for your polite comment if the photo could be also clear :) 12 Oct 2008 10:29am Ruth from United StatesI don't think we get bullfinches here. We have purple finches, goldfinches and house finches though. We love them, and we too feed them all winter. Lovely, I hope you're enjoying your Sunday. 12 Oct 2008 12:05pm Namaki from Bordeaux, Franceso that little red one announces winter and Christmas together !
