Windy Loch Ness, ScotlandPosted by Leena (Joensuu, Finland) on 16 October 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. My son took this photo about his daughters last July at Loch Ness lake, when they tried to see a Nessie! The lake was so stormy, perhaps Nessie was angry that day for some reason or other and they could not see him! Thank you very much for your visits and comments !

Rakesh from Pune, IndiaThat's a lovely picture Leena, it depicts the "Spot the Nessie" mood in the children, the shades of gray and the wind add to the adventure! Cheers Rakesh 16 Oct 2008 5:48am jamesy from christchurch, New Zealandbeautiful shot Leena your granddaughters are lovely. The closeup provides a personal touch and the black and white really makes it seems dramatic with the ripples of the ocean surface. I did not know the Lochness is in Finland! =) 20 Oct 2008 7:34am @kala: Thank you, Nicholas, for your comment! Ruth from United StatesOhh, it's a beautiful photograph!! I'm so impressed. I love those girls, and how they are not looking at the water. ;-) Once Don and I looked for Nessie there too, but nothing.
