This fellow is a regular visitor on our backyard, very nice one, nothing harm :)
The red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) is common throughout Eurasia.
It`s a little different than The American Red Squirrel (Tamiasciurus hudsonicus).
"In Great Britain, numbers have decreased drastically in recent years, in part due to the introduction of the eastern grey squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) from North America", tells Wikipedia.
We will get visitors today, I will give my time to them now !

Gorgeous Leena We don't have squirrels in NZ though I did see some in England when I was there many years ago. I think they are so cute and you have captured this one beautifully

He seems to be looking straight at your camera. Love the way his ears are straight up to make him appear very alert. Nice photo.

This is a great capture. A friend of mine has one that visits her garden, but it never stays still long enough to get a decent picture. I like the gentle colours in this image.

I am amazed by the very large pointy ears. We have grey squirrels here that have much smaller ears. Your shot looks like you startled him or caught him in the act. Fun picture.
