Pink gardening

Posted by Leena (Joensuu, Finland) on 22 November 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

No snow photo today !This is from Yalta. The Vorontsovsky Palace is an historic palace located in the town of Alupka, Ukraine. It is situated at the foot of the Crimean Mountains, tells Wikipedia
I remembered this terrace of this palace because of those pink flowers and it`s coming a pink Saturday. There is not much pink in our house and even less outside now, I have to take my pink from faraway :)

Beverly is hosting this pink theme and you can meet many pink ladies HERE

Cheerful Saturday to everyone!

Thank you very much for your visits and comments !

It is a beautiful photograph and the links to the cameras were nice to see. Do you use salt to keep the roads free from ice?

hanks for visiting my blog in Brookville, Ohio where it is cold this morning – 13 degree Fahrenheit = -10.5555556 degree Celsius.

Hei Leena
Ai kun ihana! I love those pink flowers. They are such a pretty carpet. You sure did have to go a long way to find pink!! Maybe next time you will find something in Canada and stop for a visit!! You take lovely pictures.
Well this morning we don't have any new snow either. We had just a dusting yesterday late afternoon as I left from work. Today it looks cold out there but very nice and sunny. Last year we got snow in November and I dont' think it left until March because it was just so cold. But as long as it stays off the roads for driving and just sits pretty everywhere else that is perfect for me. It really is a beautiful season.
Today I'm off to the Santa Claus parade with my granddaughter, my son and his wife and a number of their friends who have little ones. It is here in our town and its so nice because it begins at 6:00 p.m. so the lights will be lit and its pretty. I'm glad we have snow for that. We'll have to bundle up though.
Thank for you for sharing Pink Saturday!!!

Love the pinks in that garden. My grandmother was from Odessa, so I imagine some ancestral relative visiting Yalta in some past time. Thanks for sharing this part of the world.
