Your photo collection is awesome! 24 Nov 2008 9:50am Ruth from United StatesI haven't seen or heard of a redpoll. It's a little like our housefinch. 24 Nov 2008 11:16am Ruth from United StatesI wrote this comment reply to you at sync: You know, Leena, I just thought of Carl Larsson from your neck of the woods, first time I've thought of him for a while. I think my header was also influenced by his illustrations, especially of his children. I adore his home and illustrations. And I think you and I have also talked of Eliel Saarinen who designed our private school Cranbrook here in Michigan. I do love that Northern, simple style. And Grandma Olive too was Swedish. Hmm, I hadn't thought about any of this till just now. See how nice your visits are? 24 Nov 2008 11:34am Leora from Highland Park, New Jersey, United StatesPrecious! Wonderful composition to this photo, with the blue gray and white speckled snow divided by a diagonal. And the blue gray is echoed again in the little bird's shadow. 24 Nov 2008 11:43am Les from Lincoln, United StatesDarling litltle bird and a very nice capture. I like the colors against both shades of snow. 24 Nov 2008 12:08pm Hildegarde from BelgiumCool shot !! the squirrel with great tit behind it too ! Even over here we have had snow, of course it melted again (and leaks through the roof, oh bah). P.S. I know Ruth already quite some time, it's nice to have blogfriends in common. 24 Nov 2008 3:02pm Namaki from Bordeaux, FranceDon't you feel like making them stay inside your house ??? poor little thing ! that's a very nice picture ! the snow isn't over exposed ... 24 Nov 2008 4:15pm Francesc B. from région parisienne, FranceVery cute... he's looking at you... 24 Nov 2008 4:18pm Jeff from Pembroke Dock, United KingdomFirst time i've seen a redpoll, thank you for the introduction, smashing shot well taken. :>) 24 Nov 2008 4:53pm Suzanne McDermott from United StatesOh, Leena!
