Especially to Eleftheria !

Posted by Leena (Joensuu, Finland) on 26 November 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

These children are spending time outside between their lessons.
They have 15 minutes between every lesson during schoolday and they have to be outside then. Only very an extremely bad weather keep them inside, strong rain or over -25 C frost.
A right clothing is again most important.

Brisk day to all of you - Eleftheria and everyone

Sun rises 8:48 and sets 14:48. Length of day is 6 h 0 min.

Thank you very much for your visits and comments !

Great shot Leena but I feel cold just looking. Its good that the children can get out even if only for 15 mins

@jamesy: Don`t feel cold, children does not either, they have a good clothing and they have used to frosts :)
they have 45min. lessons, 15min brake between every lesson and a longer brake for their school lunch.
Thank you for stopping by!

Oh what fun. Nothing wrong with getting some fresh air and a bit of exercise for a child. My kids were always outside in the winter time. I also love the web cam shots and the Northern Lights video. I'm going to show that to my husband.

Wow! This is a true Xmas postcard! Absolutely gorgeous, I love it! Something I will never see around here.

That's a fantastic tour you are about to make through China! I don't know any of those cities once i've only visited Tibet... When are you living? Looking forward to see the photos you will take. I think you have to create another blog just for that purpose... :-)

Greetings

Yes, I see what you meant when you said, "We have now white, white and white and the sky is grey! But the children at play in this picture certainly do brighten the view. Hope you have a very pleasant Wednesday afternoon, Leena.

A picture perfect day. Beautiful Leena. It may be white and a grey day but the laughter of children always makes it more cheerful. I really like this. Have a wonderful day.

Thank you all for your comments and nice words !
These white photos will continue so long, that you will get bored with them :)

I do my best for finding some colour spot to photos.
And especially Jeff can put woollen sweater on before looking at my photos !

This reminds me of the little Christmas novelty scenes where tiny figures go round and round on the ice! Sure hope Eleftheria gets to see this.

I skyped this evening with the mother of KOOP,

At sunday she visits the programm of IDOLS.
Today there was here in the local newspaper a little article about KOOP!
Tomorrow I take a photo of this newspaper and will place it on my site.
Enjoy the white snow, till the next time.
