Watery Wednesday / Wintry river

River Pielisjoki in the middle of our town Joensuu and very cold day of February two years ago.
This river is still covered by ice of this winter today, only rapids are free !

@Antigoni: Oh, sorry, was it in my "Winter slideshow", I have to look at it again :) Thank you for visit! I looked at my slideshow and it was there, of course, even almost two times!! But probably not many has looked at my show!

@Hilda: Hilda, we had those days over - 30degrees Celsius (= -22F ) and the river was "breathing" very heavily. The boat is just waiting for a summer! Perhaps you have some day time to click my Winter show and look at our conditions during winter. Thank you for your visit and interest!

Still ice on the river!! Winter can be nice and give some very nice photos, but now I guess you have got enough of it for this year! :-)

Great shot. The sky looks so warm comparing to the ice that is suroundind that ship.
And the steam/fog gives a mysterious touch to the picture.
