Forbidden City

Do you have seen " The Last Emperor" ?
I think, I will get DVD and watch it again after seeing those buildings of The Forbidden City - or some of them anyway!

"Built from 1406 to 1420, the complex consists of 980 surviving buildings with 8,707 bays of rooms and covers 720,000 square metres (7,800,000 square feet).
It is located in the middle of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum. For almost five centuries, it served as the home of the Emperor and his household, as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government

Thank you for asking about my feelings! I think, you guess most of them :)
Thinking happenings in those buildings wakes up so many kind of feelings - as a woman especially.
But we are just looking at beautiful houses and excellent restauration and so blue sky!!
