A late evening sky

I stayed overnight in our summer cottage and did not sleep much - instead I was listening birds and watching the all the time changing colours of a night sky. Beacause we are living on the northern latitudes, after the sunset it is about two hours still quite light - two hours after midnight is a twighlight.
I was looking at the lake at two o`clock and it was quite light again - two hours before a sunrise. It is in every spring a new, wonderful experience!

Wonderful shot, Leena! I get the feeling, from your descriptions and comments, that you aren't overly focused on the technical aspects of your photography. But your pictures indicate otherwise, and this shot is a good example: very thoughtful composition and framing, perfectly in-focus and the color and contrast are perfect. It's always great fun to see the visual treat you're going to offer us. Thanks for this one!
