The Common Crane (Grus grus)

I was rather far from them, but they are so wonderful birds, that I wanted to show them even photos are also far from perfect.
"It is a large, stately bird and a medium-sized crane at 100-130 cm (40-52 in) long, with a 180-240 cm (71-96 in) wingspan and a weight of 4.5-6 kg (10-13.2 lbs)", tells Wikipedia.

Fantastic birds and shots. We're waiting eagerly for them. The first ones should arrive by thousands in Champagne within 2 or 3 weeks.

At least you had the chance to see them and capture them on film! I only saw one at the zoo. Those in Hokkaido are such beautiful birds, but I only watched them in documentaries!
