HAPPY SUNDAY !
My laptop got broken and I realize, how many photos and videos of this summer have gone, so, now I will take a break for moving photos from my other computer to safe.
And now it`s time also to start making DVDs and photobooks for presents of children.
I thank you for all those kind words to me and wish all the best to everybody!

Ihana koira! Onnea kuvien järjestelyihin. Itse olen tehnyt sitä ihan samaa. Käytän Photoshopissa olevaa Bridgeä. Onko tuttu? Sillä voi luoda kaikki kokoelmat ja muutenkin tuhannet kuvat löytyvät helposti. Veljeni teki siitä perusteelisen opetusviedeon Suomeksi. Nyt aikani ei mene enää etsimiseen.

I am using a big external hard drive for photos - 1 terabyte. But it would still be a good idea.

Hello KikiDog! I am staying with Nana for the weekend right now, she took me for a long walk in the forest this morning. I found some nice black mud and laid down in it, and then I found some horse poo and that was even better than the mud. Nana was cross and made me wash my legs and feet in the pond. The water was very cold! I hope you are keeping warm Kiki, lots of love from TessaDog in Canada

Tervehdys Leena. Että sillälailla, sano läppäris työsopimuksen irti ja katos kuvia. Niin kovin, kovin tuttu juttu.
Tossa vaiheessa ei oikein viitsis edes muistuttaa, että Gigantista olis saanut 1000 MB ulkoista levytilaa 79€:lla ! Sinne olis sopinut varmasti sinunkin kuvasi muutamaan kertaan, sikäli kuin olis tullu kopioitua. Mutta jälkiviisauttahan tämä ja nyt vain toivon minäkin, että saat taas joskus järjestelmän pystyyn ja pelastettua mitä pelastettavissa on.
Kiitos kommenteista ja jääkidekuvahaasteesta. Otetaan vastaan mielellään ja heti voinee todeta, että hopeasija on ainakin varma:-)
Ihan oikeasti olen kanssa funtsinut josko saisi talteen mahdollisimman hyvän kidemakron talven aikaan.
Olen kaiken kaikkiaan laiska kuvaamaan ja kiritiikki on kasvanut harrastuksen myötä, jonka lop-
putulos on se, että ei tule julkaistua juuri mitään. Mutta näin omasta mielestäni kehitän osaamistani
ja "näkökykyä" valokuvauksenkin loputtomalla saralla. Kuviahan on helppo ottaa, klik,klik ja kortilla onkin
4 kuv/sek, mutta so what, tekeekö niillä mitään ja onko kukaan kiinnostunut niistä. On parempi olla tuhlaamatta ihmisten aikaa kotialbumikuvien selailuun, ne levätköön siellä kovalvyjen syövereissä.
Tämä koirakuva on tavanomainen, mutta hyvä sellainen (myös teknisesti) ja suurin ansio tästä itse hänelle (he/she), hieno poseeraus, kaunis turkki ja raamikas turpavärkki. Kun näin on niin mikä on kuvatessa :-)

Äh, miten harmillista! Tuo tulee varmaan jokaiselle eteen joskus - ei tietokoneisiinkaan voi luottaa. Itse olen hankkinut ulkoisen muistin ja laittanut kaikki vanhemma tuvat sinne. Ostin vasta äskettäin itselleni läppärin ja sitten menikin lähes kaksi viikkoa, ennen kuin se saatiin toimimaan. Kone ja mokkula eivät sopineet yhteen, eikä toinen eikä kolmaskaan mokkula... Nyt toimii!

Pfew, that will be a lot of work. Good courage ! (I also have lots of photos on the PC, it is so easy to think that nothing will happen but that of course is nonsense, I'd better put "saving" on my agenda too). Have fun making presents ! Beautiful photos of a beautiful squirrel (in winter fur ?) !! I can count the times that I have seen a squirrel on one hand, so enjoy all that nature that you have ! Sorry to hear of your losing images and data. I just had a big crash myself, my 500GB external hard drive died. Nothing can be retrieved needless to say I am devastated as I have lost thousands of music files, and I don't even know how many photos...
I just just bought a 2nd drive to back it up, but it died before I could get the new one hooked up to transfer data...
